Performance Capabilities

If you choose the base trim on the new Honda CR-V, you’ll get an inline four-cylinder engine that makes 184 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque. Every other trim level in the lineup comes standard with a turbocharged inline-four that generates 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. The choices continue with two different drivetrains, including front-wheel drive and an available Honda CR-V AWD system: Real Time All-Wheel Drive. The latter includes an Intelligent Control System which gives you ideal handling whether you’re tackling rocky roads or trudging through snowy streets.

Fuel Economy

When you opt for the 2018 Honda CR-V, you’ll enjoy real SUV performance paired with excellent fuel economy, though the Honda CR-V mpg figures vary depending on the engine and drivetrain you chose. The base Honda CR-V engine gets an EPA-estimated 32 mpg highway and 26 mpg city with front-wheel drive or 31 mpg highway and 25 mpg city* with all-wheel drive. Move up to the turbocharged inline-four, and you’ll get up to an EPA-estimated 34 mpg highway and 28 mpg city with front-wheel drive or 33 mpg highway and 27 mpg city* with all-wheel drive.
