Dear Mr. Underriner,
My name is Barabara Grossman and I have been a customer for over 9 years, I recently bought a used, 2012 Honda Accord EX to replace my 2000 Honda I bought at Pacific Honda in San Diego, CA.
The service I receive from my service advisor, Toby is AWESOME. He is a gentleman with compassion that far extends to the ends of the earth. He is kind, caring, answers all my questions and services my car with loving care. Being 76 years old and having to walk with a cane, Toby makes visits to Underriner Honda a pleasant experience. The men in the service area are so very nice. Everyone says ‘Hello’ to me and those that work on my car are just WONDERFUL. I often bring in bagels and cream cheese for them and at Christmas make sure that a tin of ginger snap cookies is shared with all. This is my way of saying THANK YOU.
March 30, 2015, I brought my 2000 Honda Accord in for an oil change. I spoke to Toby about possibly trading my car in for a 2015 Honda Accord. I told him that I didn’t want to deal with the car salesman and ask if he knew someone that would give me a good deal. He recommended Cheryl and he was right. . . What a lovely lady and she represented Underriner with respect and caring of me, the customer. I picked an Accord EX and was told that they would have to get it from another Honda dealer since you didn’t have one on the lot.
That evening I spoke to my daughter and suggested that I look at a used car because of the depreciation I would have to incur on buying a 2015 Accord. I phoned Cheryl the next day and was told she would look for me. An Accord was found. . . Color Blue, a 2012, with bells and whistles. . . The one-owner car had 37,000 miles on it. I told Cheryl, I would take it, site unseen. Instead of trading in my 2000 in, my daughter and I decided to give it to my granddaughter as a graduation of high school present. My 2000 Honda has 108,000 miles on it and is in good condition. I took really good care of it and know that my granddaughter will do the same.
Toby and Cheryl were such a great team that my experience in purchasing a Honda was delightful. Toby got the car ready for me on Friday, April 10th, I drove my new car off your lot. I paid cash for the 2012 Honda Accord EX and will get my plates this Monday, April 27th. I know that if I need help putting them on, I can count on Underriner and Toby’s team of wonderful service technicians.
Mr. Underriner, I write you to let you know of the SUPER EXPERIENCE I have every time I bring in my Honda. Again, I must say that TOBY is by-far, a wonderful caring man. Thank you for 9 years of GREAT SERVICE. . . Thank you for 9 years of not having to worry about my car and I look forward to many more years with my new 2012 Honda Accord EX.
